Foreign rights Manager

Job Description

 We are looking to appoint a dynamic Foreign Rights Manager to lead our Foreign Rights Department. You will be responsible for the sale of translation rights, audio, TV and film rights across all our lists working with publishers around the world to secure the best possible range of rights for our creators. You will be working closely with our editorial team throughout the acquisition process to best represent all our creators as you negotiate rights with a wide range of customers. Working effectively with our print production team you will be responsible for all our co-editions, from when the contract is signed to the delivery of books.

Skills and Experience 

You will have at least two years’ experience working for a children’s publisher in their rights department. Working in a fast paced environment, managing multiple books, you will have excellent time management and organisational skills. Able to lead a team as well as working independently, you will have impressive verbal and written communication skills.  

 The role is based in our London office, Vicarage House, with one day a fortnight in the office and the remaining days working from home.
